Raymond Meeks
Born in 1963 in central Ohio, Raymond Meeks was educated at the Ohio State University. In his mid-twenties, Ray taught himself how to use a camera with the sole intent of making a few good pictures of his grandmother. A deep passion for photography and the visual arts followed and led to editorial assignments for the New York Times, Esquire, GQ and Audubon magazines, to name a few.

Raymond Meeks' photographs are included in many prominent collections, including the Julia Norrel and the Sir Elton John Collections, the Columbus Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

Raymond’s first book, Sound of Summer Running, (Nazraeli Press, 2004) is a collection of portraits of his family celebrating the joys of family life.
