Dave Anderson
Dave Anderson is a fine art photographer based in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Born to Quaker parents in East Lansing, Michigan, Dave studied history and film before entering the world of politics.  He worked as a s staff member in the Clinton White House, went on to work as a producer at MTV, then worked for several years in the film industry.  A chance sighting of a course catalogue from the International Center for Photography led to classes and soon an all-consuming passion for photography.  He resigned his job shortly thereafter and has been a photographer ever since.

Dave's project "Rough Beauty" was the winner of the Santa Fe Center for Photography's 2005 Project Competition.  He was also named a rising star by Photo District News.  His work can be found in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, the Worcester Art Museum, the Art Museum Southeast Texas, and the University of Louisville Photographic Archive among others.    Dave was called "One of hte shooting stars of the American Photo scene" by Germany's fotoMAGAZIN.

Rough Beauty was released by Dewi Lewis Publishing in November 2006 with a forward by Anne Wilkes Tucker.

His first Gallery Opening was at Watermark Fine Art in June 2004 and we at Watermark are very proud of Dave and his rapid success.
